For this 2nd edition the categories are up to 6 :
- Kolo Gasy for the best blogs on Madagascar’s Cultural identity
- Mpivoy Gasy for the best blogger for a Malagasy cause
- Vita Gasy for the best blog on everyday life in Madagascar
- Teny Gasy for the blog written in Malagasy (at least 2 posts out of 3)
- Tanora Gasy for the blog exposig the best of Malagasy Youth (no age limit)
- Coup de Coeur for the blog from the finalists list which will receive the most votes from the public

Rules
- All weblogs (wikipedia) updated 6 months before Oct 13th 2009 with topics related to Madagascar (approx. 2 out 3) are eligible.
- Each nomination will be checked before validation, we will not allow blogs promoting violence, racism or obscenities
- Each IP will be allowed to submit 5 nominations (we will only take the fitst 5 nominations)
- Anyone can submit a blog during the nomination time. Jurys and comitee members cannot be included.
- Private blogs only accessible with a password are not eligible. Only blog open to public are allowed. Broken URL links won’t be published.
- Only the 5 most nominated blogs will be selected to join the finals with the jury
- The winner in each category will be the blog which will receive the most vote from the jury.
- The jury will follow a checklist to vote for the Best from each category. It will be published on November 29th.
- Votes from the Public favourite from the 5 most nominated blogs from each category will start on November 30th and end on December 31st.

Jury and Comitee
- the comitee swill be composed by Foko-Madagascar co-founders in charge of BOMBS 2007 edition and sponsoring 2009 edition. A co-founder of Foko-Madagascar will take the president seat (won’t be part of the comitee)
- Winners from BOMBS 2007 will join BOMBS 2009 Jury team.
- Jury will follow a checklist to vote for the Best from each category, this list will be published online.
- Jury profiles will be published during the nomination phase. Finale list will be revealed on November 29th.
Prize
Winners will discretly receive a list of prizes even if the best prize is to get a stellar reputation inside the whole blogosphere (!!) and get to keep the title for an entire year!
